Sustainably-Sourced Guar for a happier planet
Solvay is the world leader in guar derivatives with a broad sustainable portfolio. Since 2015, Solvay has decided to go one step further with its Sustainable Guar Initiative in India, to promote sustainable agricultural practices and encourage women's empowerment. As of 2020, 7,300 farmers were part of the project, 25% of whom are women. The project led to a 125% increase in guar yields and a 143% increase in their revenues. This uniqueness answers consumers' call for natural, safe and ethical cosmetics.
